Volleyball / Beach Volleyball

Volleyball is a demanding sport that is predicated upon repetitive jumping, dynamic lateral movements, quick feet and serious neuromuscular coordination. Victory emphasizes these aspects of performance in all workouts focusing on hip flexibility and shoulder strength to maximize vertical and power. Additionally we will emphasize core strength to minimize injuries as repetitive motions in volleyball create significant stress on the knees.

Victory Training will improve:

  • Speed—lateral and linear
  • First step quickness (explosiveness)
  • Change of direction (agility)—lateral and linear
  • Vertical jumping
  • Elasticity and strength of muscle groups related to hitting and spiking the ball
  • Core strength and stability
  • Knee and Shoulder health and injury prevention
  • Overall strength and athleticism relative to volleyball through a comprehensive weight and/or general strength program

Soccer / Futsal

Soccer is a demanding sport that is predicated upon maximum acceleration and de-acceleration, dynamic lateral movements, quick feet and serious neuromuscular coordination. Victory emphasizes these aspects of performance in all workouts.

Victory Training will improve:

  • Speed–lateral and linear
  • Acceleration
  • De-acceleration
  • Coordination
  • First step quickness
  • Change of direction (agility)—lateral and linear
  • Core strength and stability
  • Overall strength, power, and athleticism relative to soccer through a comprehensive weight and/or general strength program

Baseball / Softball

Baseball and Softball are demanding sports that are predicated upon repetitive dynamic lateral movements, quick feet and serious neuromuscular coordination. Victory emphasizes these aspects of performance in all workouts focusing on hip flexibility, core strength and shoulder strength to maximize quickness and power. Additionally, we will emphasize core strength to minimize injuries as repetitive motions in baseball/softball that create significant stress on the shoulders and hips.

Victory Training will improve:

  • Speed and acceleration for base running/base stealing
  • Maximum velocity for the 60yd/55m testing sprint
  • Core strength and stability
  • Explosiveness
  • Overall strength, power, and athleticism relative to baseball through a comprehensive weight and/or general strength program

Football

Football is a sport of speed and explosiveness. To excel in football, an athlete must exhibit the qualities of maximum acceleration and de-acceleration, dynamic lateral movements, quick feet and serious neuromuscular and hand/eye coordination. Victory emphasizes these aspects of performance in all workouts.

Victory Training will improve:

  • Acceleration and de-acceleration
  • Position specific training
  • Maximum Velocity for the 40 yard dash
  • Change of direction (agility)—lateral and linear
  • First step quickness (explosiveness)
  • Breakaway-speed
  • Core stability and strength
  • Overall strength and power necessary for speed in football through a comprehensive weight and/or general strength program

Track & Field

Victory Training is a leader in the athletic training industry in teaching athletes to excel at running. There IS a correct way to run and Victory coaches teach proper biomechanics to enhance a track athlete’s true sprint potential.

Victory Training will improve:

  • Bio-mechanics relative to sprinting, middle and long distance running
  • Acceleration with respect to sprinting
  • Maximum Velocity
  • Speed endurance
  • Block starts and start mechanics
  • Decrease reaction time to the gun
  • Neuromuscular coordination
  • Race preparation
